Our Team

Henry Nzekwu

Henry Nzekwu is responsible for offering positioning, guidance and expertise to the Board and the organization on matters pertaining to strategy, governance, operational and financial management.

He has over 3 decades of extensive experience in strategy, business development, advocacy, media and marketing communications in provision of services to Governments, Corporates and Development partner organisations. He currently is the Executive Vice Chairman of Messagewise Limited a Nigerian enterprise development company which has partnered with local and international organisations to proffer solutions for national development to the Federal Government of Nigeria and its various agencies such as the Federal Inland Revenue Service, the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation, the United Nations Population Fund, McArthur foundation amongst many other international agencies.

A graduate of medicine from the University of Ibadan Nigeria, Dr. Nzekwu is a member of the Institute of Directors, the Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria and an alumnus of the Lagos Business school. He continues to serve on the boards of several companies in diverse sectors.

Iyeme Efem

Iyeme Efem will be responsible with other members of the Board in governing and overseeing the operations.

He is an accomplished Public Health International Development expert with over 25 years extensive experience managing and directing local health intervention and global development projects. In cooperation with government on all levels and a wide range of stakeholders including donor agencies and implementing partners he has directed complex health and supply chain systems strengthening projects in Nigeria, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Malawi and South Africa.

Iyeme has served for over fifteen years in the capacity of project Country Manager on several United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and TGF funded projects. including Engenderhealth on the Fistula Care and Fistula Care Plus projects, John Snow Incorporated on the SCMS||Deliver projects and Project Concern International. During this time, he managed budgets ranging from $4 million to $290 million dollars and also managed about one hundred and forty staff. The outcome of these interventions greatly impacted on reduced costs, improved performance, the unification of separate supply chains and streamlined distribution systems across commodities.

He successfully led project implementation for treatment, prevention, reintegration, research, community outreach and service integration across states 14 health facilities in 13 States of Nigeria.

He is a well sought-after Advocacy expert and Doctor of Social Works.

Eyamba Nzekwu

Eyamba Nzekwu will be responsible with other members of the Board in governing and overseeing the operations.

She is a Chartered accountant by profession and has been responsible for many start-ups and transformation programs across public and private sectors of the Nigerian economy over the last 30 years of her professional career . She commenced her career at the London office of Price Waterhouse and has worked in the banking sector, and as an active member of the financial community has worked extensively with the African Development Bank, the World bank and Commonwealth Secretariat London in advancing solutions on financial and development matters in Africa.

Eyamba served as pioneer Executive Commissioner Technical on the Board of Nigeria’s National Pension Commission, where she played a pivotal role in the formulation of regulations for and supervision of the pension industry in Nigeria.

Prior to that she was the Accountant General of Cross River State in Nigeria and was part of the team that transformed the state into Nigeria’s leading tourism and recreational hub.

She continues to serve on the board of several companies whilst retaining her passion for uplifting the vulnerable in society through her works of charity and philanthropy.

Chinyelu Odigwe

Chinyelu Odigwe will be responsible with other members in governing and overseeing operations and in addition will foster communication and ensure proper management and utilization of important organizational records.

She is a Pharmacist with about 16 years’ experience and expertise in procurement, logistics and inventory management on United States Agency for International Development (USAID) funded projects. She has served in a managerial capacity on the Fistula Care Plus project (working for EngenderHealth) and the Global Health Supply Chain – Procurement and Supply Chain Management project (working with Chemonics) where she ensured timely availability of health and project commodities and services, effectively reduced costs and managed a team of administrative and procurement staff. She successfully managed the Fistula Care Plus project operations in-country ensuring project activities concerning logistics and inventory in-country were timely delivered. She was part of the team who successfully closed-out activities on the project and managed the disposition of all assets based on USAID guidelines.

Chinyelu possesses proficient skills in organizing and coordination and is an entrepreneur at heart. She has successfully managed the establishment of a patient care oriented facility was actively involved in clinic-set up for off-shore facilities.

Michael Eleri

Michael Eleri is responsible for ensuring the day to day activities required for the efficient running of the organization are carried out seamlessly.

He graduated from the University of Hertfordshire (UK) with a Bachelors in Economics in 2016 and has a background in finance roles, budgetary support, management and office IT applications which inform his mindful but viable approach. Michael Eleri is fueled by his passion for understanding the nuances of management in the NGO space. He considers himself a “continuous learner”, eager to build on his academic foundations and stays in tune with best practices in administration and IT usage for operations and professional development.
